The KRPF is involved in the delivery of various programs in the communities.
Cadets
Through activities with youth in the communities, this program
has the long-term goal of increasing the number of Inuit officers working for the
KRPF.
Gun Safety Awareness
This program
promotes safe practices for handling firearms.
Hunter Support-Firearms License 
One goal of this program is to deliver the Canadian Firearms
Safety Course to regional residents so they may apply for firearms possession
and acquisition licences.
Search and Rescue
These procedures establish the role of the KRPF in search
and rescue operations in and around Nunavik, in close collaboration with
community, regional, provincial and federal authorities.
